What this policy covers
This policy describes how Pathfinder Counseling Group, LLC handles information submitted through this website. It does not replace the Notice of Privacy Practices provided to clients at intake, which governs protected health information under HIPAA.
Information we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us through the contact and appointment request forms: your name, phone number, email address, and whatever you write in the message field. We ask you not to include clinical or medical details in these forms.
Basic technical information, browser type, pages visited, approximate region, may be collected by our hosting provider and by website analytics, if analytics are enabled. This information is not used to identify individual visitors.
How we use it
Form submissions are used to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to schedule care. We do not sell information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.
Email and form security
This website is served over HTTPS, so information you submit is encrypted in transit. However, ordinary email and web forms are not a secure channel for sensitive health information. Please keep website messages brief and save clinical details for a phone call or a session.
Service providers
This site is hosted by Netlify, and form submissions are processed through Netlify's form handling before being delivered to our office. Any analytics service in use is listed in the site's tracking configuration and collects only aggregate usage data.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete a website inquiry we have on file by calling the office. If you are a client, requests concerning your clinical record are handled under the Notice of Privacy Practices rather than this policy.
Children
This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children through it. Parents and guardians submit requests on behalf of minors.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
